Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

May 20, 2021

Update on our 2021-2022 season and the canceled and postponed concerts from 2019-2020.

The Kearney Concert Association (KCA) curtains are preparing to rise again. After cancelling and postponing concerts for over a year, we are excited to say that our 2021-2022 season is scheduled to begin October 4 with Miss Myra and The Moonshiners. Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our audience, our artists, and our volunteers. To ensure this, we will be following the advice of the CDC and Two Rivers Public Health Department. All KCA 2019-2020 members that do not renew for the 2021-2022 season will be able to attend the Frank Vignola Hot jazz Trio and the Masters of Soul (Young Irelanders substitution) without charge. We are extremely optomistic that our 2021-2022 season will take place as scheduled, but as always, especially in a time of pandemic, everything remains subject to change.

Excerpt from Allied Concert Services most recent Coronavirus update:

The news from the CDC on May 13th is exciting! By September, when our first artists start to tour, it appears that we will more-or-less be back to normal. I know we all look forward to sitting with our neighbors and friends to enjoy live entertainment.

As your local governments and schools digest the CDC guidance, we expect in the next few weeks they will start to loosen masking and social distancing requirements. Schools should hopefully be back to normal by next fall and be willing to open their doors to the community.

Thank you for all you have done over the past year. Please know we appreceiate all of your hard work and willingness to be flexible.
