The Kearney Concert Association (KCA) has again been forced to modify our 2020-2021 season. KCA President,
Rick Mitchell said, “Due to Covid-19 issues, all of the concerts scheduled for 2020-2021 are being postponed
until approximately the same dates in 2021-2022.” Mitchell added “By waiting until the fall, it should once again
be safe for our patrons, artists and volunteers."
The two concerts that had to be canceled in March and April of 2020 will be included in the 2021-2022 season.
Replacing the 8-member Young Irelanders March 13, 2020 concert will be the Masters of Soul, a 10-member
dynamic tribute to the best music of Motown, featuring 3 female and 3 male singers backed with an instrumental
quartet. The Frank Vignola Hot Jazz Guitar Trio that was planned for April 24, 2020 is being rescheduled. All KCA
2019-20 members will be able to attend these two make up performances without charge.
The normal KCA season has five concerts, however, the 2020-2021 season was scheduled to include a bonus sixth
concert and with the two 2019-2020 replacement concerts, 2021-2022 will be an eight concert season. Season
memberships will continue to be Adult $50, Student $25 and Family $110. If you have already renewed, thank you.
If you haven't, you may renew now. Feel free to email if you wish to check on your current status.
