Kearney Concert Association Youth Concerts

Kearney Concert Association Youth Concerts feature exciting repertoire as well as interactive and directed listening activities to keep students focused and involved. The concerts will fascinate and engage young audiences with upbeat music in an educational setting. Opportunities to attend will be announced annually.

 
2013-2014 "The New Century Saxophone Quartet" Thursday, March 20, 2014, 1:10 pm

The Kearney Concert Association invites you and your students to join The New Century Saxophone Quartet for a Youth Concert of outstanding entertainment and high-energy music in an educational setting. The only ensemble of its kind to ever win First Prize in the concert Artists Guild Competition, the New Century Saxophone Quartet is a pioneering and versatile group. Their program ranges from Classical to jazz and pops. This concert is free, however seating is limited so register early. Downloadable/Printable Brochure

Make it a field trip!

Are you thinking you would like to make this a full day? The Great Platte River Road Archway Monument, Museum of Nebraska Art, Trails & Rails Museum and the Nebraska Firefighters Museum would be great destinations. To help with your busing expenses, consider applying for a Nebraska Arts Council School Bus for the Arts grant. Funds are limited so apply early. Don't forget that the Target Corporation also provides busing grants.
