Kearney Concert Association Youth Concerts feature exciting repertoire as well as interactive and directed listening activities to keep students focused and involved. The concerts will fascinate and engage young audiences with upbeat music in an educational setting. Opportunities to attend will be announced annually.

"Street Corner Symphony" September 16, 2024

The Kearney Concert Association invites you and your students to join Street Corner Symphony, a Youth Concert of outstanding entertainment and high-energy music in an educational setting. Click to view & print youth concert brochure

This Nashville based a cappella group, with their unique, laid-back-yet-dynamic style of singing was the runner-up on NBC's Sing Off. With a wide range of repertoire, Street Corner Symphony will appeal to the young and old alike. These are highly recognized, polished talents, with a great, big fun sound, singing hits like: "It's Alright," "Johnny B Goode," "Ain't No Sunshine" and "Drift Away."

Are you thinking you would like to make this a full day? The Archway, Trails & Rails Museum and the Nebraska Firefighters Museum would be great destinations. To help with your busing expenses, consider applying for a Nebraska Arts Council School Bus for the Arts grant. Funds are limited so apply early. Don't forget that the Target Corporation also provides busing grants.
